Generations:The first generation (F1) standard size GoldenDoodle was the first to be bred. It is the product of a standard Poodle crossed with a Golden Retriever. The backcross (F1B) Golden doodle is produced by crossing a F1 Golden doodles with a Poodle. F1B Golden doodles will have a higher success rate for non-shedding, and are recommended for families with moderate to severe allergies. The second generation Golden doodle (F2 or F2B) is produced by crossing the F1 Golden doodle with a F1B Golden doodle. They also have a higher success rate for non-shedding and are recommended for families with moderate to severe allergies. The third generation Golden doodle (F3) is produced by crossing the F1B or F2 with another F1B or F2 Golden doodle. They're like the F1B's and will have a higher success rate for non-shedding, and are recommended for families with moderate to severe allergies.

Description The GoldenDoodles ancestry

cross chart

Description:The Golden doodles ancestry along both parent lines is as hunters and water dogs. The physical appearance of the Golden doodle runs anywhere from a shaggy-looking retriever to a curl-relaxed poodle, but usually it falls somewhere in between. The length when left unclipped grows to about 4-8 inches. The color of the coat can be cream, red, white, gold, apricot, chocolate and black. Most Golden doodles have a Standard Poodle as a parent, and are standard sized. Those with a miniature Poodle as a parent are about 25-45 pounds and are called miniature Golden doodles.Like many poodle crosses, most F1 Golden doodles are light to moderate-shedding, and most live easily with families with MILD allergies. Families with moderate to severe allergies often find that Golden doodle backcrosses (F1B) or second Generation (F2B) Golden doodles work well. Doodles are considered allergy friendly, not hypoallergenic. Allergies : It is impossible to test your allergy response with our puppies or breeding dogs because dander is present everywhere. We do suggest that you meet as many Doodles as you can and we can direct you to prior owners who would just love to show off their dogs.
